Handler Law is proud to announce that on May 6, Illinois Supreme Court Justice Elizaberth Rochford administered the oath of office to partner Michael N. Ripani, CPA, CFE, JD as President of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago during the organization’s Annual Meeting. The meeting brought together distinguished members of the bench and bar, including Illinois Supreme Court Justices Rochford, Joy Cunningham and Sanjay Tailor, and Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County Charles Beach.
The appointment reflects Mr. Ripani’s longstanding commitment to leadership within both the legal profession and the broader civic and faith communities. As President, Mr. Ripani will help guide one of Chicago’s most respected legal organizations dedicated to promoting ethics, service, professional excellence and the integration of faith within the practice of law.
Mr. Ripani’s election as President comes at a meaningful time for the legal profession as attorneys and organizations continue to navigate increasing complexity, evolving client expectations and heightened ethical considerations. During the Annual Meeting, Mr. Ripani shared a thoughtful vision for the year ahead that focused on providing opportunities to its members to grow professionally and spiritually and collaborate with the judiciary, law schools and the churches based in Chicago.
